MISSIONS

College Parkway Baptist Church intends to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world through these activities and mission agencies:

Community & Local Efforts

A covenant church of the Arundel chapter of Habitat for Humanity International by participating in local construction four times per year as well as supporting the local chapter financially.
Facility, financial, and resource support for My Brother’s Pantry on the Broadneck Peninsula.
Collections and financial support for SPAN- Serving People Across Neighborhoods in Severna Park.
Support of state mission efforts through the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware.
Providing lunches and other meals for Lighthouse ministries.

National Efforts

Financial Support of the Southern Baptist Convention- North American Mission Board.
Congregants who are trained members of SBC and BCM/D Disaster Relief Teams.
Financial Support of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and Mid-Atlantic Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
Sent several mission teams to the gulf coast in response to Hurricane Katrina.

Global Efforts

Support of SIM (Serving in Mission) with their efforts in Nigeria. Our church has taken several mission trips to visit the SIM organization in Jos, Nigeria.
Mission Trip to Nicaragua in July 2010 to build homes with Bridges to Community.
Annual participation with Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse.
Offering support for SBC Global Missions and CBF Global Missions.
